StataGuide users. Users of StataGuide, a free Stata add-on for the web, can now use their login IDs and passwords to access Stata for Windows from their web browsers.
StataCentral users. The Stata Central team is pleased to announce that it is now possible to purchase full installation licenses of Stata through the StataCentral web site.
The Stata 12 upgrade must be installed separately. To check whether you have Stata installed, go to Start, Programs and Features, and select Stata .
Check the box next to “Check for and Install Updates,” then click OK. This will start the upgrade process. When the process finishes, you will be prompted to restart the computer.
4. In the Stata License Setup dialog, enter your email address and click Next. Then in the license file dialog, click Open. 5. Click Next. Click Yes to start the Stata installation. Page 4.
